Woodlands qualify for tag rugby county finals

A fun and competitive morning of Rugby ended with Woodlands qualifying to represent East Norfolk in the county finals.

Woodlands were up against 3 other teams - North Denes, Homefield and Martham. In our first game we managed a 3-3 draw with Martham - Danny scoring a last minute try to avoid defeat. Libby and George the other scorers.

The second game was a 5-3 loss to Homefield - although Woodlands were 5-1 down before fighting back, and also had 2 tries disallowed in their attempts to fight back! George, Harlee and Jacob scored the tries.

Finally, Woodlands wrapped up 2nd place with a 4-1 win over North Denes thanks to tries from George (2), Callum and Libby.

Well done to all involved, and congratulations to Homefield on their overall victory.
