Woodlands play trio of matches v Hillside

Woodlands teams have been continuing their Football seasons - all 3 teams playing matches against Hillside.

Last week both the U11 and U10 Hillside boys visited Woodlands. The U11 game was an end to end affair with the lead changing hands on several occasions. In the end the 3-3 draw was probably a fair result - Callum, Jamie and Shay scoring.

In the U10 game it was 1-0 to Woodlands until late on when they managed to find their scoring boots and close the game out by 4 goals to 0. That makes it two wins from two league games for the Year 4's - who incidentally are all playing a year up. Louie (2), Ethan and Joe grabbed the goals.

On Monday Woodlands girls travelled the short distance to Hillside in freezing temperatures and wintery showers. The girls asserted their authority from the first whistle and managed to come out 10-1 victors - Hannah and Olivia both managing a hat-trick. The Year 5's chipped in with goals from Ellie, Libby and Stevie.

Thanks to Hillside for some great sporting fixtures!
